Aquanaut Diving Club is proud to announce the 11th 2019 Underwater Photography Competition

Prizes:

First Place:                 5 days diving 
Second Place:            3 days diving
Third place:                1 day diving
Honorable Mention:     1 day snorkeling

SUBMISSION DEADLINE:

Entries must be received before 23:59 (11:59pm) on May 25, 2019

Votes will close at 23:59 (11:59pm) on May 31, 2019

 

File Specifications:

  • JPEG/JPG images only
  • At least 2500 pixels on the widest side
  • 10MB maximum file size
  • Photographer`s name, location where the photography has been taken in the Red Sea and subject title for the photography.

 

Contest rules:

  • Only amateur and semi-pro photographers aged 18 or over are eligible.
  • Photos must be taken underwater in the Red Sea only. Split-shots (over-under) are accepted.
  • Photos taken as a result of harassment to marine life that could be harmful to the subject may be disqualified.
  • All subjects must be alive and in their natural environment. No captive animals will be considered and no entrapment of any kind is permissible.  
  • Maximum 5 entries per person per contest.
  • Each image can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed.
  • The image must have been created in the past three years and be your original work.
  • You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all image entered.
  • Computer-generated or computer-altered images will not be accepted. Artwork and illustrations will not be accepted.
  • All entries must be submitted via the online entry form.
  • By entering your image, you grant Aquanaut Diving Club the non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time, for example, we may use your images in online articles on www.aquanautclub.com.

 

Voting rules

 

Voting will close on the day stated on the competition.

 

Voters should be registered on our webpage.

The photos will be judged by voters, it is not allowed to vote for your own photograph.

   

Winners will not be contacted – please visit the site after the closing date to see who has won.

All prizes will be awarded.
